JOSEPH KYLE
Art I Design
Joseph Kyle was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He found his passion for the fine arts at a young age and has carried it with him ever since. After years of art instruction at Studio Seven and The Blake School, both in Minneapolis, he attended St. Olaf College. There, he studied studio art and designed his own major, Architecture and Sustainability Studies.
Joseph's interest in both studio art and architecture characterize much of his work, which most recently has dealt with the complex dualities created between the built and natural environments. His work uses symbol, metaphor and image to explore these important concepts while seeking to remain accessible and sometimes, even beautiful.
